Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. Her first release was hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with questions of racial identity as well as sexual orientation. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. Then, she started traditional and hip-hop training. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Not until after graduation did she start focusing on music. Her track My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a popular viral sensation on the Internet and was later featured on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. It also included viral hits, such as body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was published is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. After a successful career as a singer, she decided to take on the character of actress. In addition to early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, as well as Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
